Numerica Credit Union donated $315,000 this year to local partners who are building brighter futures for children and families. The Numerica Charitable Fund, a member-funded program, offers grants in support of the credit union’s new philanthropic initiative, Numerica CARES for Kids. In all, 19 nonprofits throughout Eastern Washington, Central Washington, and North Idaho will use the grants to help provide housing, meals, education, and more to local youth and their families.

Fresh Soul restaurant in Spokane, Washington offers soul food and food for the soul with life skills job training for youth ages 14 to 18. Learning every facet of culinary arts, students gain valuable skills during the 12-week program working in the restaurant.
