Life moves. Live well.

Numerica understands that life and money are in constant motion. For more than 80 years, we've helped protect and advance our members' financial health by:

  • Offering better rates, lower fees, no-stress services and outstanding support.
  • Giving back and supporting the communities in which our members live, work and play. Since we're founded by locals and owned by members, we strive to give back 5% of our income to the community by focusing on women's and children's issues, education, and organizations that strive to combat hunger and poverty. Numerica does this through volunteerism, fundraising, and through corporate sponsorships and donations. Find out more about our community support.

Over 148,000 people from Spokane, Northern Idaho, the Tri-Cities and Wenatchee Valley bring us their realities, hopes and dreams. We are honored to serve the well-being of so many. Check out the Annual Report.

Numerica Credit Union's mission is to enhance lives, fulfill dreams, and build communities.

Support from our loyal members has helped to build a strong foundation, inspiring Numerica to give back to our community.

Through donations, fundraising and sponsorships, Numerica focuses on fostering education, supporting women and children and ending hunger and homelessness. We do this by supporting causes that lend a helping hand, create leaders and celebrate our community.

History

Freight train pulled by two green engine cars pulling several silver freight cars on a track running through green field with trees surrounding train track and field.

Railroads were expanding in America's Northwest, and the workers wanted to pool their modest resources to support one another. A bond was formed. One man's savings was rewarded with the interest paid on a loan given to another.

In 1937, Spokane Railway Credit Union (SRCU) was born, and continued to evolve as the economy climbed. SRCU grew to support the employers of other transportation systems and shippers, and by the year 2000, had expanded to serve more territories in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

In 2000, SRCU adopted a more inclusive name to serve the well-being of even more members. The very same year, Numerica Credit Union merged with North Central Credit Union (NCCU) gaining approximately 8,000 members and three branches in the Wenatchee Valley Area.

In October 2003, Numerica purchased property in Kennewick for a new branch that opened in December 2004. During the same time period, a merger was made with Coeur d'Alene Teachers' Credit Union, expanding our membership in North Idaho.

Numerica Credit Union has been recognized for our forward thinking branch design (2015 CUNA OPSS Excellence in Branch Design Award Winner), outstanding business practices (2015 Greater Spokane Agora Award Winner) and community support (2014 Philanthropic Corporation Winner). We are especially proud of our employees, one of our most valued resources, who have been consecutively recognized as 'rising stars' in the Inland Northwest business community (2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 Inland Business Catalyst "20 Under 40", and 2017 Wenatchee World's "30 under 35").

In March 2018, Numerica merged with Monad Federal Credit Union adding another 2,500 members to our family.
