Student Loan Repayment Scholarship
Numerica offers two $2,500 scholarships for student loan repayment for members who have completed an Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree.
Important dates
- Application deadline: November 30, 2019 (midnight)
- Award: December 15, 2019 via phone or email
Eligibility
- Numerica member in good standing
- Completed application
- Provide proof of degree completion (Associates, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)
- Current Monthly Statement from Student Loan Servicer
- Minimum word count of 150 must be met on application questions
- Loan must be a federal student loan – Private student loans are not eligible
Student Ambassador Scholarship
Numerica is proud to offer 10 $1,500 scholarships to high school seniors to help achieve their goal of pursuing a college or university education.
Important dates
- Application deadline: June 2, 2019 (Midnight)
- Judging: June 24, 2019
- Award: July 5, 2019
Eligibility
- Numerica member in good standing
- High school senior entering college/university as a full-time freshman student in the fall of 2019
- Completed a minimum of 20 hours community service hours during high school
- Provide a reference letter from a non-profit 501(c)3 (letters from school coaches, counselors or teachers will not be accepted)
- Cover letter addressing educational goals, future career plans, financial need, and other information the committee might find valuable in evaluating the application
- Provide a copy of acceptance letter from a regionally or nationally accredited institute of higher education
Continuing Education Scholarship
Numerica offers two $2,500 scholarships for college students who are continuing to work full-time on an Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in the fall of 2019.
Important dates
- Application deadline: June 30, 2019 (Midnight)
- Judging: July 8, 2019
- Award: July 26, 2019
Eligibility
- Numerica member in good standing
- Continuing to work on an Associates, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (students who are completing a Doctorate program are not eligible) in the fall of 2019
- Some college or trade school completed with proof of enrollment
- Currently employed (FT/PT)
- Cover letter addressing educational goals, future career plans, financial need, and other information the committee might find valuable in evaluating the application
Numerica Credit Union is excited to offer two $2,500 Financial Education Scholarships for local high school juniors or seniors to help them reach their educational goals.
Important dates
- Application deadline: June 28, 2019 (Midnight)
- Judging: July 16, 2019
- Award: July 26, 2019
Eligibility
- Completed a financial education program that was offered by Numerica’s financial education team at selected high schools (classes are currently not offered outside selected high schools)
- Provide a copy of acceptance letter from a regionally or nationally accredited institute of higher education
- High school junior or senior during the 2018/2019 school year
- Written testimonial about how financial education in high school will help them reach their goals
- Cover letter addressing educational goals, future career plans, financial need, how you currently balance your work and social life, and why going to school is important to you
- Does not need to be a Numerica Credit Union member
